Buddy

Hello! My name is Buddy!

As my name implies, I am a wonderful companion. I am super loving with people I know well…just ask my fan club at the shelter!

I’m affectionate (hugs and kisses!), playful, smart (I know my name, “sit,” and “catch,”) and great on the leash. After some time outside walking or playing fetch, I’m ready for a long nap next to you on the couch. Oh, and I have great house manners, including not barking much and sitting patiently while someone’s cooking in the kitchen. I don’t even mind the bathtub!

Sometimes I can be protective of my people while on the leash or in the house. My new family can continue the training I’ve started at the shelter so I can become even more confident and show everyone how sweet I am. Still, I think I’d love living with just one or two people and not having many visitors at the house. And no cats, please!

I would also love to have my own fenced-in yard; playing fetch and pushing the jolly ball around are two of my favorite pastimes.
