If you would like to foster a dog or puppy for Friends of Homeless Animals, please fill out this application. This is just the first step in our foster process and does not guarantee a foster placement will occur. Please provide as much detail as required to explain your answers.
Available Foster Types:
- Puppy Fostering (up to 4 months). Foster a puppy or two, or possibly a litter of puppies with their mom.
- Short-term Fostering (a few days or up to a few weeks). Short term-foster needed while another foster is on vacation, or when a dog is recovering from a medical procedure. We also use short-term fostering when we don’t have enough space to save all the dogs we want to bring in for intake.
- Long-term Fostering (until adopted). Usually, long-term fosters are needed for dogs that have been at the shelter an extended period of time, puppies under the age of 1 year old, senior dogs, or dogs not adjusting well at the shelter.
