📝 ABOUT THIS ANIMAL

Hi, I’m Pocket-Sized Dixie! I’m a super sweet, wiggly little lovebug who just wants to be close to you, preferably in your lap if you’ll let me! I adore attention and will happily hand out kisses and little nose boops all day long. I’m friendly, curious, and always busy checking out the world around me. The shelter can feel a little overwhelming sometimes, but once I’m with my people in a chill space, my happy, affectionate personality really shines.

I’m good with other dogs and enjoy their company!

I’ve met cats before and have done well with them.

I’ve met kids before and have done well with them.

🎓 I KNOW THE FOLLOWING COMMANDS

I’m easy on leash and enjoy being out and about with my person! My friends at FOHA are still working with me on my commands.

I am housetrained!

💖 THINGS I LIKE

Being close to my people, being a snuggle buggle, and exploring everything with my lil nose! I also don’t mind being picked up, more cuddle time for me!

⚠️ THINGS I DISLIKE / STRUGGLE WITH

Busy environments are a bit overwhelming since there’s so much going on. I’ll do best with a little patience and reassurance while I settle in.

Spay/neuter, vaccines (rabies, distemper & Bordetella), 1-month access to Petcademy for training and behavior support, slip lead leash, 1 bag starter food, 1 month flea/tick & heartworm preventatives, diagnostic testing, and any additional medical care recommended by our vet.
