Meet Miss Dot

ABOUT THIS ANIMAL:

Hi, I’m Miss Dot, a sweet, gentle girl who likes to take life at her own pace. I can be a little shy when I first meet new people or experience new environments, but once I settle in, my soft and affectionate personality really begins to shine.

When I first arrived in my foster home, I was nervous and needed some time to adjust to all the new sights and sounds. With patience and kindness, I quickly began to relax and show my true self. Now I happily greet my people, enjoy gentle affection, and even ask for pets once I feel comfortable.

I love exploring both indoors and outdoors, taking slow strolls, and calmly checking out my surroundings. Walks are something I enjoy, and I generally do well on leash, though I may pull a little when something interesting catches my attention.

I’ve also discovered that toys can be fun! I enjoy chewing on nylabones and occasionally playing, especially when other dogs are around.

Miss Dot has done well living with another dog and has shown friendly interest in canine companions. She also passed a cat test, so she may be able to live peacefully with feline friends. While she can be a little cautious with strangers at first, she warms up with gentle introductions and patience.

Overall, Miss Dot is a calm, affectionate, and sensitive girl who will thrive in a loving home that allows her the time and space to continue building confidence.
