ABOUT THIS ANIMAL:

Hi, I’m Gaia! I may be a little shy at first, but I’m a very sweet girl once I feel comfortable. I can be a bit unsure when meeting new dog friends, so I do best with slow, gentle introductions and calm, respectful companions.

I’m not really into toys, but I love getting out for walks and runs, and I really enjoy spending time with other dogs and my people. I’m very affectionate and love to cuddle once I know you.

For my safety, I just need a secure yard or to be safely tethered when outside, and a little awareness around open doors since I can be quick if I see an opportunity.

I’m housebroken and can be left out alone when appropriate.

I’ll do best in a home that’s patient, kind, and excited to help me settle in and build trust at my own pace.

HOW AM I WITH DOGS:
I am good with calmer dogs who respect my space and don’t rush me.

HOW AM I WITH CATS:
I have lived with cats before but I am too fond of chasing them.

HOW AM I WITH KIDS:
Unknown – we will do slow introductions to see how things go.

Snuggling!! I love walks and exploring.

I’m not overly fond of toys or being rushed. I like to set the pace.

Spay/neuter, vaccines (rabies, distemper & Bordetella), 1-month access to Petcademy for training and behavior support, slip lead leash, 1 bag starter food, 1 month flea/tick & heartworm preventatives, diagnostic testing, and additional medical procedures as recommended by our vet.
