Meet Ava

ABOUT THIS ANIMAL:

Hi, I’m Ava! 💖 I’m a smart, loving Australian Cattle Dog Mix with lots of training under my belt — I’m housebroken, crate trained, leash trained (I walk beautifully!), and I know tons of commands like sit, stay, down, and even “settle.” I’ve had professional training in the past, so I love to show off my good manners. My favorite things in the world are fetch, tug, walks, zoomies, cuddles, belly rubs, and especially car rides (seriously… they’re the best!). I’m moderately active, so I’d be happiest with a family who will take me on walks or hikes and then relax with me at home. I do have a sensitive stomach, so I’ll need vitamins and special food to help keep my tummy feeling good. I bond quickly and have so much love to give — I just ask that my new home be with adults only or kids over 16 so I can feel my very best.

HOW AM I WITH DOGS:
I like some dogs but would do best in a single-dog home!

HOW AM I WITH CATS:
No cats for me please!

HOW AM I WITH KIDS:
Young children make me nervous sometimes. I would do best in a home without children or older teenagers only!

I KNOW THE FOLLOWING COMMANDS:
I have gone through professional training with my last family and I know lots of things! I know: stay, sit, leave it, down, settle, gentle, no jump, no bark/quiet, off and drop it! I’m super smart and eager to please.

MY HOUSEBREAKING AND/OR CRATING:
I am housebroken and crate trained.

THINGS I LIKE:
I love fetch, playing tug, and going for walks. My all-time favorite thing to do is ride in the car! Nothing like feeling the wind in your fur! 💜

THINGS I DISLIKE:
Small/young children make me nervous and I would do best in a home without them.
