ABOUT THIS ANIMAL:
Hi, I’m Marvin! I’ve been at the shelter for quite a while and have made a little tribe of friends here. When I spot my people, I wiggle my whole body and tail until they say hello! I love lounging in a baby pool, chewing toys while getting belly rubs, and curling up on my human’s head while we relax on the couch. I’m a sweet and affectionate boy who thrives in a quiet, stable home without lots of visitors or fast movements. Kids scare me, so an adult-only home is best. I’m loyal and love snuggling, and I walk beautifully leaning against your legs.

HOW AM I WITH DOGS:
I play well with other dogs and enjoy sunbathing in the play yard. I had a good time in playgroup but prefer calm dog friends and need firm guidance if things get too rowdy.

HOW AM I WITH CATS:
No cats.

HOW AM I WITH KIDS:
No kids — children’s fast movements frighten me.

THINGS I LIKE:
Quiet environments, belly rubs, lounging in pools or blankets, walks, sunbathing, playing with calm dogs.

Strangers (I take a long time to warm up), eye contact or being approached quickly, lots of visitors or home activity, playing with big balls (I get overexcited).

ADOPTION FEE INCLUDES:
Spay/neuter, vaccines (rabies, distemper & Bordetella), 1-month access to Petcademy for training and behavior support, slip lead leash, 1 bag starter food, 1 month flea/tick & heartworm preventatives, diagnostic testing, and additional medical procedures as recommended by our vet.
