Hey Dan the Man Here --
My years (yes, years) at FOHA have been a bit of a roller coaster.  I came to FOHA as a happy go lucky hound. However, as a large dog living in a shelter environment, I, understandably, developed some stress-related issues -- mainly an aversion to meeting strangers on a leash.
I recently moved into FOHA’s Village where I have my own small house and yard.  The freedom has helped restore my previous personality and my favorite volunteers and staff report that I am again playful and a bit goofy.  Imagine how much I could improve if I finally found a home to call my own?
Due to my size, I am looking for a strong, experienced person to welcome me into their home.  Together, we can enjoy car rides and taking long walks – two of my favorite pastimes -- and forge a loving bond.  This is what rescue is all about.

This dog can only be adopted within the Washington D.C. metro area.
