Some awesome animals will get a helping hand, thanks to the people who loved and miss Mark Miller
Mark Miller was indeed a “dog whisperer” who was able to inspire trust in even the most fearful dogs. Maybe that’s one of the reasons Mark and Teresa adopted three dogs from FOHA over the past years. The first one, Quincy, was afraid of men when she came into their family, but Mark soon changed that, and Quincy lived a long, happy and fearless life. Muffin, Tommy and Quincy traveled everywhere with the family—from the South Carolina swamps to the St. Lawrence River, and even on a ferry to Block Island off the coast of Rhode Island.
When Mark passed away recently, it was a natural gesture from his family to request donations to FOHA in lieu of flowers. After all, Mark, Quincy and his first pup, Daisy, would want it that way. Just imagine the reunion they had! For the family, it is comforting to know that Mark’s love for animals, especially those in need of a second chance, will continue to flow because of your donations given with love and appreciation for all that Mark represents: a heart of gold, patience, warmth, love, and respect for all life. FOHA is grateful to Mark and Teresa for their long-running support and the love they shared with their FOHA pets through the years.
