Meet Zeke

🌟 Meet Zeke!

Zeke is a gentle, sweet-natured boy who may be a little shy when you first meet him, but underneath that cautious exterior is a loving cat just waiting to share his heart. He’s the kind of cat who likes to get to know people at his own pace, and once you’ve earned his trust, you’ll discover a playful and affectionate companion.

One of the things we love most about Zeke is his kind spirit. He approaches life thoughtfully, preferring quiet interactions and gentle encouragement over being the center of attention. Give him patience, a calm voice, and a little time, and you’ll be rewarded with a wonderful friend.

🐾 A Few of My Favorite Things:

Wand toys • Quiet cuddle sessions • Gentle pets • Cozy cat trees • Spending time with Luna • Calm, patient people

Zeke absolutely loves wand toys once he feels comfortable enough to play. Watching his confidence emerge is one of the best parts of getting to know him. He may retreat to the safety of a cat tree when he’s feeling unsure, but every day he becomes a little braver.

Perhaps the most special thing about Zeke is his bond with Luna. These two are incredibly sweet together. Volunteers often describe Zeke as Luna’s little ambassador. While Luna gathers her courage, Zeke happily explores the room, then regularly returns to check on her as if making sure she’s doing okay. His calm confidence seems to help Luna feel safer, and it’s impossible not to smile watching them interact.

🏡 What I’m Looking For:

Zeke and Luna are a bonded pair looking for a forever home together. They complement each other beautifully and have helped each other navigate shelter life. Their ideal home will be patient, loving, and willing to let both cats continue to grow in confidence at their own pace.

A quieter home where they can settle in, feel safe, and build trusting relationships with their people would be a dream come true.

💛 Ready to fall in love?

If you’re looking for two sweet souls who will reward your patience with trust, affection, and heartwarming companionship, Zeke and Luna would love to meet you.

Zeke's Medical Information

I have FIV, that's what I have but it is NOT who I AM! Please don't let that scare you away. I want you to know that FIV+ cats can and DO live long, healthy, and normal lives when given the chance. In fact, statistically, most FIV cats live as long as their indoor counterparts (13-18 years), and much longer than cats that live outdoors (3-8 years). There are many reported cases where FIV+ cats live well into old age without ever showing any symptoms. It's important to note that dogs, other pets, and humans are absolutely immune to FIV. The virus itself is astonishingly frail and can live outside of the body for only a few seconds. The virus is also extremely slow-acting, so it is unlikely to pose any threat to other cats in the household. I know that adopting an FIV+ cat may seem like a big responsibility, but I promise that I am worth it. I am a sweet and loving kitty who just wants a warm and safe place to call home. If you are willing to give me a chance, I promise to bring you years of joy and companionship. So please come and meet me, and see for yourself that FIV+ cats are just as wonderful and deserving of love as any other cat.
