Meet Luna
🌟 Meet Luna!
Luna is one of those cats whose journey makes every little victory feel absolutely magical.
When Luna first arrived, she preferred to keep her distance, watching the world from the safety of her favorite hiding spots. But thanks to patient volunteers, tasty treats, and lots of love, this sweet girl has been showing us more and more of her brave side. Every day brings a new milestone, and we couldn’t be more proud of her.
Luna is also eligible for FOHA’s Foster Forward Program, which helps long-stay animals like her experience home life and increases her chances of adoption.

Luna may be shy, but underneath that cautious exterior is a sweet cat who wants to trust. Volunteers have celebrated moments like Luna allowing gentle head pets, purring while being scratched, licking Churu from a finger, and even choosing to fall asleep on the sofa while a person sat nearby. To some cats these may seem like small things, but for Luna they represent tremendous progress and growing confidence.
One of the biggest influences in Luna’s journey has been her best friend, Zeke. These two share a special bond, and it’s heartwarming to watch. Zeke often acts as Luna’s little ambassador, bouncing around the room before returning to check on her as if to reassure her that everything is okay. Luna seems calmer and more confident when Zeke is nearby, and together they make an absolutely adorable pair.
🏡 What I’m Looking For:
Luna and Zeke are a bonded pair and are looking for a forever home together. They complement each other beautifully, with Zeke helping Luna feel brave while Luna provides a calm, loving presence in return.
Their ideal home will be patient, understanding, and willing to let Luna continue blossoming at her own pace. The family lucky enough to adopt them will get the joy of watching Luna’s confidence continue to grow and will experience firsthand just how rewarding it is when a shy cat chooses to trust you.

ADOPTION FEE INCLUDES:
Spay/neuter, vaccines (rabies and FVRCP/distemper), diagnostic testing (including FIV/FeLV), any additional medical care recommended by our vet, 1 bag starter food, 1 month flea/tick prevention, and 1-month access to Petcademy for post-adoption support.
Luna's Medical Information
I have FIV, that's what I have but it is NOT who I AM! Please don't let that scare you away. I want you to know that FIV+ cats can and DO live long, healthy, and normal lives when given the chance. In fact, statistically, most FIV cats live as long as their indoor counterparts (13-18 years), and much longer than cats that live outdoors (3-8 years). There are many reported cases where FIV+ cats live well into old age without ever showing any symptoms. It's important to note that dogs, other pets, and humans are absolutely immune to FIV. The virus itself is astonishingly frail and can live outside of the body for only a few seconds. The virus is also extremely slow-acting, so it is unlikely to pose any threat to other cats in the household. I know that adopting an FIV+ cat may seem like a big responsibility, but I promise that I am worth it. I am a sweet and loving kitty who just wants a warm and safe place to call home. If you are willing to give me a chance, I promise to bring you years of joy and companionship.
