Meet Sandy

ABOUT THIS ANIMAL:
Hi, I’m Sandy — and trust me, you’ll be glad you checked out my profile! I’m a sweet and gentle young lady who’s ready for the next chapter of my life. I came to FOHA last fall with five tiny babies, and thanks to a wonderful foster home, I was able to raise them in safety and peace.

At first, I was shy and unsure, but after a week in foster care, I realized I was finally safe. My foster mom says I was an incredible mother, and now that my kittens are all grown and adopted, it’s my turn to be loved and cherished.

I love gentle attention, cozy spaces, and scratches that make me purr. I’ll even chatter back when you talk to me — I’ve got a lot to say! Want to see my playful side? Bring out a laser pointer and let the fun begin.

I’m looking for a quiet, loving home where I can continue to blossom. If you have a calm cat, I could likely coexist peacefully — but I’d also be happy soaking up the spotlight all by myself.

HOW AM I WITH OTHER CATS:
I tolerate other cats and would likely do well with a calm feline friend or as your one-and-only.

HOW AM I WITH DOGS:
Unknown, but if interested FOHA staff will conduct a cat test and send a video to the potential adopter.

HOW AM I WITH KIDS:
A calm household with older children or adults would be a great fit for my gentle personality.

MY LITTER BOX HABITS:
Excellent — I’m a tidy girl who always uses my box.

THINGS I LIKE:
Chin and cheek scratches • Quiet time with my people • Talking back when you talk to me • Laser pointer games • Naps in the sun

THINGS I DISLIKE:
Sudden changes or loud environments — I’m a mellow girl who thrives on calm and routine.
