Meet Rawley
ABOUT THIS ANIMAL:
Rawley is a gentle, sweet boy who wants nothing more than to feel safe with his people. He walks beautifully on leash, enjoys being close, and often leans in for affection. He is the kind of dog who tries very hard to be good and fit in, which makes him easy to love right away.
At the same time, Rawley is a sensitive soul. His friendly behavior can sometimes come from trying to keep the peace rather than feeling fully confident. With the right support, his true personality shines. His future family will help him by watching his body language, keeping interactions calm and respectful, and giving him space when he needs it. Simple things like letting him approach at his own pace, avoiding overwhelming greetings, and rewarding his calmer choices go a long way in helping him thrive.
Rawley is a wonderful companion who blossoms with patience and understanding. If you enjoy building trust with a dog who genuinely wants to connect, he will reward you with quiet affection, soft gratitude, and a deep bond. He is truly a special little guy, and he just needs the right people to help him feel safe and understood.
HOW AM I WITH DOGS:
I can be selective with other dogs. A dog introduction will be needed. I may also do best in a home without other dogs.
HOW AM I WITH CATS:
Unknown – just ask my friends at FOHA to do a cat test and we can see how I do.
HOW AM I WITH KIDS:
I will most likely do well with older children who can respect my space.
I KNOW THE FOLLOWING COMMANDS:
Not listed – still learning!
MY HOUSEBREAKING AND/OR CRATING:

THINGS I LIKE:
Playing ball with my favorite people but I will play by myself, too! Treats! Walkies.
THINGS I DISLIKE:
People moving too fast! Dogs that don’t let me warm up for play or respect my space!
