ABOUT THIS ANIMAL:
Hi! I’m Luna, a sweet, gentle girl with a heart full of love and a nose that adores woodland walks. I’ve lived in a home before and I’m house trained, crate trained, and walk beautifully on leash. Life’s been a bit unpredictable for me lately — I’ve been loved, but returned through no fault of my own, and I’m really hoping the next home is my forever.

I can be a little shy at first, especially around new men, but once I warm up, I’m all about gentle snuggles and happy tail wags. I’d love a home that understands I’ve had some ups and downs and is ready to help me regain my confidence with kindness, patience, and lots of pets (bonus points for couch time!).

I enjoy calm walks, treats (I take them ever so nicely!), and hanging out with dog friends. I’m hoping for a quiet, loving home where I can finally settle in and be cherished like I deserve.

HOW AM I WITH DOGS:
I enjoy the company of other dogs and have done well with dog friends in the past. I can be a little selective, so slow introductions are best — I tend to bond most with dogs who have a calm, friendly energy.

HOW AM I WITH CATS:
Unknown – FOHA can cat-test me upon request.

HOW AM I WITH KIDS:
I’ve lived with kids ages 10+ and done well with them. I’d be happiest in a home with older children who understand how to give me space and affection when I need it.

I KNOW THE FOLLOWING COMMANDS:
Sit, crate-trained, leash-trained, house-trained — I’m a smart and polite house guest!

MY HOUSEBREAKING AND/OR CRATING:
Fully housebroken and crate-trained. I also do great at the vet and love my routines.

THINGS I LIKE:
Walks in the woods, treats, other dogs, couch time, gentle snuggles, and quiet moments with my people.

THINGS I DISLIKE:
New situations can make me a little unsure, especially meeting men for the first time — but I warm up quickly and then it’s all playtime and tail wags.

ADOPTION FEE INCLUDES:
Spay/neuter, vaccines (rabies, distemper & Bordetella), 1-month access to Petcademy for training and behavior support, slip lead leash, 1 bag starter food, 1 month flea/tick & heartworm preventatives, diagnostic testing, and additional medical procedures as recommended by our vet.
