Hi there, I’m Sweetie! 🐶💕

You may notice I’m back! I went home for a brief time, I was 1000% ready for my family, but they weren’t quite ready to commit to a dog. Even though I proved myself to be a very excellent gal in the home. It’s ok though! I know the next people who find me will be meant to be, I just had a quick trial before finding my forever home!

My original foster family gave me the name Sweetie, and let me tell you—they nailed it! I’m all about love, cuddles, and being as close to my people as possible. If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate best friend, I might just be the perfect match for you!

I walk beautifully on a leash (no pulling here!) and I adore people, including kids—my foster family has two teenage humans, and I think they’re pretty awesome. I’ve also met other dogs and even cats, and I did great with them! Oh, and did I mention my love for treats? Sometimes I get so excited about a snack that I just carry it around in my mouth for a bit before eating it. What can I say? I like to savor the good things in life!

Car rides make me a little nervous, so I’d do best with a car crate or a dog seatbelt to help me feel secure. Otherwise, I might try

to ride shotgun and hold your hand the whole way—what can I say, I’m a lover! 💕
