ABOUT THIS ANIMAL:
Hi, I’m Pawris Hilton, and while I may have a celebrity name, I’m a humble sweetheart at heart. I recently spent some time in a foster home, and they had nothing but glowing reviews! I’m gentle, affectionate, and a little shy with new people, but once I feel safe, my loving personality shines through.

I’m still getting used to the world, so I may need a boost into the car or a little extra encouragement on noisy walks, but I’m already showing how brave I can be. I even hopped into the car all by myself when helping a friend run errands! My foster said I’m very gentle, even when I’m nervous, and I have the sweetest habit of giving gentle nose boops and resting my chin in your hand. I also give the softest little tail wags once I feel comfortable.

I love other dogs and feel more relaxed and confident around canine friends, I even had a great little playdate with a neighbor pup! Toys are a blast (watch those squeakers though 😉), and I especially love working for treats and praise in a calm environment. I’m still working on my potty training, and I’m doing my best despite the recent changes in my routine. A consistent schedule in a forever home will help me thrive!

HOW AM I WITH DOGS:
I love other dogs! They help me come out of my shell. I’d love a home with a playful, friendly dog companion.

HOW AM I WITH CATS:
Excellent! I’m mostly indifferent to cats, and under supervision I’ve peacefully shared space with them.

HOW AM I WITH KIDS:
Gentle and sweet, but due to my shyness, a calm home with respectful children would be best.

I KNOW THE FOLLOWING COMMANDS:
Sit! I’m working on “down” too. I’m very treat and praise motivated in quiet environments.

MY HOUSEBREAKING AND/OR CRATING:
Still learning. I do best with a consistent routine and lots of praise. I may need extra time and patience as I adjust.

THINGS I LIKE:
Other dogs • Toys and kongs • Treats and meals (I eat fast!) • Nose boops and chin snuggles • Calm walks • Gentle praise • Being close to my people

THINGS I DISLIKE:
Loud noises and new people can make me nervous, but I’m learning to be brave every day.

ADOPTION FEE INCLUDES:
Spay/neuter, vaccines (rabies, distemper & Bordetella), 1-month access to Petcademy for training and behavior support, slip lead leash, 1 bag starter food, 1 month flea/tick & heartworm preventatives, diagnostic testing, and additional medical procedures as recommended by our vet.
