Parsley

Hello there! My name is Parsley, and I’m here to tell you a little bit about myself. I might come off as a bit reserved at first, especially around new faces, but deep down, I’m a total sweetheart. You see, it takes me a moment to warm up, but once I realize I’m safe and sound, I’m all cuddles and tail wags.

I do have a slight hesitation when it comes to that tricky leash going over my head—it’s just one of those things that make me a tad nervous. But don’t worry, with a bit of patience and understanding, I’ll get the hang of it in no time.

Now, let’s talk about my curiosity! I’m an explorer at heart, both indoors and outdoors. Every nook and cranny deserves my attention, and I’ll happily investigate all the interesting sights and smells that come my way.

Oh, and about those moments of mischief? Well, I’ll admit, I can be a bit rambunctious, especially when there are treats involved. I’m learning the ropes, though, and I respond really well to gentle guidance. Like that time I just couldn’t resist trying to nab a treat off the counter—I’m getting better at resisting temptation, promise!

When it comes to commands, I’m quite the smarty-paws! I know how to sit like a pro, and if you ever need something found, just say the word—I’m on it! And let’s not forget “off”—that’s a handy one to know, especially when I’m feeling a little too enthusiastic about jumping up.

I have to admit, I’m a bit of a chatterbox. When something catches my interest or I’m just feeling extra excited, I’ll let out a few barks or playful woofs. It’s all part of my charm, really.

All in all, I’m just a lovable, endearing pup in search of a wonderful family to share my adventures with. If you’re looking for a furry companion who’s equal parts sweet and curious, then look no further—Parsley’s the name, and wagging tails are my game!

I am very new to FOHA and my shelter family is still figuring out how I feel about some things like other dogs, cats, and kids.  My bio will be updated as they learn more about me!
