ABOUT THIS ANIMAL:
Hi, I’m Nanjie! I’m a sweet and gentle girl looking for a soft place to land after my owner fell ill. I walk nicely on leash, enjoy the company of other dogs and even cats, and I absolutely love gentle pets and good-smelling treats. I can be a little shy at first, especially with men, but if you go slow and let me set the pace, I warm up — my last foster dad won me over with treats and by helping with my daily meals! I’d feel most comfortable in an adult-only home and maybe with another pet to help show me the ropes. I’m a super loving girl who’s just hoping for a safe, peaceful home to call my own.

HOW AM I WITH DOGS:
I like other dogs and would prefer a home with another dog to help me feel more comfortable!

HOW AM I WITH CATS:
I get along just fine with cats!

HOW AM I WITH KIDS:
I would do best in an adult-only home!

I KNOW THE FOLLOWING COMMANDS:
I know: sit, stay, down and “load-up” for getting in the car!

MY HOUSEBREAKING AND/OR CRATING:
I am housebroken.

THINGS I LIKE:
Toys! Gentle pets. The company of other dogs. Long walks with my volunteer friends!

THINGS I DISLIKE:
Rough players & loud noises. I can be wary of men but if they go slow, give me treats and take part in my daily feedings, I can be won over!

ADOPTION FEE INCLUDES:
Spay/neuter, vaccines (rabies, distemper & Bordetella), 1-month access to Petcademy for training and behavior support, slip lead leash, 1 bag starter food, 1 month flea/tick & heartworm preventatives, diagnostic testing, and additional medical procedures as recommended by our vet.
