Meet Moo Deng

ABOUT THIS ANIMAL:
Hi, I’m Moo Deng — a happy, wiggly, fun-loving guy with a big personality and an even bigger heart! I can be excitable, jumpy, and a little mouthy when I’m amped up, but it’s all playful and friendly, never aggressive. After some time to burn off energy, I’m able to settle nicely and relax. I enjoy attention, affection, and being around my people, and I’d thrive with a family that enjoys an active, playful companion and can help me practice calm manners.

HOW AM I WITH DOGS:
I’ve politely sniffed and greeted other dogs on walks with calm, friendly body language. I get excited when I see dogs but remain manageable and social.

HOW AM I WITH CATS:
Unknown.

HOW AM I WITH KIDS:
Unknown. Due to my jumpy and excitable nature, supervision and guidance would be important.

I KNOW THE FOLLOWING COMMANDS:
No formal commands are currently known. Moo Deng is playful and engaged, so positive-reinforcement training will help him learn quickly.

MY HOUSEBREAKING AND/OR CRATING:
Moo Deng did great spending time loose in an office setting — no accidents, no destructive behavior, and relaxed calmly when left alone. He is a door dasher and will attempt to bolt out of open doors, so a home that’s mindful of safe entries and exits is important.

THINGS I LIKE:
Running and zooming outside, toys (especially tug and soft toys — though he will shred them), interactive play with people, affection, pets, and attention. He loves engaging with his humans and will seek out snuggles, kisses, and belly rubs.

THINGS I DISLIKE:
Being overly riled up without guidance — he can get mouthy during high-energy play. He also pulls on leash when excited and will need continued leash training.
