Meet Moo Deng
ABOUT THIS ANIMAL:
Hi, I’m Moo Deng , a wiggly, happy, zoomie-loving guy with a big personality and an even bigger heart! I can be excitable, jumpy, and a little mouthy when I’m amped up, but it’s all playful and friendly — never aggressive. Once I’ve had some time to burn off energy, I’m able to settle down nicely and relax.
I love running outside (zoomies are my specialty!) and enjoy interactive play, especially tug. I’m very affectionate and soften quickly with attention — I’ll lean into pets, nuzzle, lick, and even roll over for belly rubs. I’m comfortable being handled all over, including my paws, ears, and mouth.
I’d thrive in an active home that enjoys playtime and will help me continue practicing good manners as I grow.
HOW AM I WITH DOGS:
I love other dogs! I’m full of energy and love to play!
HOW AM I WITH CATS:
Unknown.
HOW AM I WITH KIDS:
Unknown. Because I’m jumpy and energetic, supervision and continued training would be important.
I KNOW THE FOLLOWING COMMANDS:
I respond to my name and I know sit!
MY HOUSEBREAKING AND/OR CRATING:
I used to live in a home and did very well being left alone uncrated! I did very well spending time loose in an office — no accidents and no destructive behavior. When left alone briefly, I relaxed calmly. I am a door dasher and may try to slip past you if given the opportunity, so secure doors and mindful exits are important. I can pull on leash due to excitement, but it’s manageable and will improve with guidance.
THINGS I LIKE:
Zoomies, running outside, tug-of-war, interactive play, affection, belly rubs, attention from my people, and toys (especially soft ones — though I may shred them if allowed!).
THINGS I DISLIKE:
Being overly riled up without structure — I can get mouthy during high-energy play, but I stop when the play stops. Not much bothers me otherwise — I’m generally curious and unbothered by noise.
