ABOUT THIS ANIMAL: Hi, my name is Khaki, and I am a spirited girl with a heart that truly shines. I sleep soundly in my crate and feel safe and cozy tucked in for the night. I am still a little curious and unsure about smaller dogs, though I am learning more each day. I adore my walks, I melt when my coat is brushed, and I have a grand time playing with my toys. I am also wonderful at entertaining myself with a calm contentment that surprises everyone who meets me. I am the kind of girl who fills a room with gentle joy just by being there.

I recently spent time out and about in a busy setting, and I did so well. I felt a bit shy at first, yet my temperament stayed sweet and steady. I met children kindly, enjoyed the attention, and handled the bustling environment with confidence, even when loud motorcycles went roaring by. I was also a star in the car. I rode in a car hammock in the back seat, and as soon as the car began moving, I settled in, stretched out, and stayed calm the entire ride.

I am good with dogs but I can be wary of smaller dogs in the beginning.

Please, no cats for me!
