Meet Kenya
ABOUT THIS ANIMAL:
Hi, I’m Kenya, a sweet and playful girl who loves toys, gentle pets, and exploring new smells. I can be a little cautious with new people at first, but I settle quickly once I know you. I enjoy running, playing keep-away, and tug games, and I give up toys easily when asked. I’d thrive in a home where I get confidence-building, gentle encouragement, and lots of fun playtime.
HOW AM I WITH DOGS:
I’ve been in Doggy Social here at FOHA and have done well with some dogs, I think the right match is out there!
HOW AM I WITH CATS:
Unknown.
HOW AM I WITH KIDS:
Unknown.
I KNOW THE FOLLOWING COMMANDS:
I know “sit” and “place” and I’m eager to learn more! While I do well when on a walk with volunteers here at FOHA, they’re helping me learn to be calm while putting on my harness.
MY HOUSEBREAKING AND/OR CRATING:
Still working on crate training but I’ve had some experience, just need some more support.
THINGS I LIKE:
Toys, tug games, exploring scents, gentle pets, attention from people.
THINGS I DISLIKE:
I spent time with a family in a busy city and I think I’m more suited for the quieter neighborhoods. I’m also working with some of my favorite volunteers to overcome my fear of cars.
