🌟 Meet Jazz Hands!

🐾 ABOUT THIS ANIMAL:

With a name like Jazz Hands, you know this girl was born to entertain! Jazz Hands is a happy, affectionate, playful pup who approaches life with plenty of wiggles, kisses, and enthusiasm. She loves people, loves attention, and has been known to roll right over to soak up some extra love.

Jazz Hands is still a young girl figuring out the world. She’s curious and confident in familiar spaces like the yard and office, but she can be a little uncertain about venturing into new areas. On walks, she may stop to sniff, observe, and decide whether she’s ready to keep going. With more positive experiences and a trusted person by her side, her confidence should continue to grow.

One of Jazz Hands’ favorite things is playing with other dogs! She’s shown herself to be a fun and adaptable playmate who can wrestle and run with energetic friends but also adjust her style for dogs who prefer gentler play. She takes turns chasing and being chased and can get adorably vocal when the fun really gets going. She has also enjoyed playing with toys alongside other dogs. Like any youngster, she may occasionally communicate when she doesn’t want to share something she’s actively playing with, but she has been able to move on and continue playing appropriately.

Jazz Hands is energetic without being completely over the top and recovers quickly when something surprises her. She’s sweet, silly, treat-loving, and always ready for the next fun thing. With continued training and plenty of opportunities to play, explore, and cuddle, this affectionate girl has all the makings of a wonderful companion.

🐕 HOW AM I WITH DOGS:

I do great with other dogs and love to play! I enjoy running, wrestling, chasing, and being chased, and I’ve shown that I can adjust my play style depending on my playmate. I can also be a vocal player when I get excited.

🐱 HOW AM I WITH CATS:

Unknown — just ask my friends at FOHA to conduct a cat test.

👶 HOW AM I WITH KIDS:

Unknown — we recommend slow introductions to help everyone feel comfortable.

🎓 I KNOW THE FOLLOWING COMMANDS:

I’m still learning! I’m treat motivated and ready to work on all those important puppy skills.

🏠 MY HOUSEBREAKING AND/OR CRATING:

My housebreaking is still a work in progress. I’m also not a big fan of seeing playtime end and going back to my kennel — can you blame me?

💖 THINGS I LIKE:

Playing with other dogs, running, wrestling, toys, treats, kisses, belly rubs, exploring, and soaking up attention from my people.

⚠️ THINGS I DISLIKE:

I’m still building confidence when exploring unfamiliar places and may need a little encouragement to venture somewhere new. I also think leaving my friends and going back to my kennel is highly overrated!

Spay/neuter, vaccines (rabies, distemper & Bordetella), 1-month access to Petcademy for training and behavior support, slip lead leash, 1 bag starter food, 1 month flea/tick & heartworm preventatives, diagnostic testing, and additional medical procedures as recommended by our vet.
