Meet Harper

ABOUT THIS ANIMAL:
Hey there, I’m Harper! I’m about a year old and full of enthusiasm and energy, ready to take on the world with my new family by my side. When my human friends are around, I show my excitement with playful jumps and a bit of mouthiness. I’m still learning the ropes of being a grown-up dog, but I’m a quick study and eager to please! I’m hoping to find a patient and loving family who will help me with these lingering puppy behaviors—consistency is key, right? I’m totally cool with cats and love making friends with our feline pals. As a new arrival at FOHA, they’re still getting to know me, so updates on my behavior with other dogs and kids will come soon. For now, I’m excited to find a family who will give me lots of love, playtime, and maybe a few treats along the way.

HOW AM I WITH DOGS:
Very social. Can be a little “pesky” trying to get dogs to play but takes corrections well after a few reminders.

HOW AM I WITH CATS:
Good with cats.

HOW AM I WITH KIDS:
Good with kids, including kids 10 and under.

I KNOW THE FOLLOWING COMMANDS:
Takes corrections well but doesn’t always listen right away.

MY HOUSEBREAKING AND/OR CRATING:
House-trained.

THINGS I LIKE:
Walks, treats, playtime, new friends.

THINGS I DISLIKE:
Pulling on the leash but responds well to checking in for treats.
