Meet Goose 🌟

🐶 ABOUT THIS ANIMAL:
Goose is a joyful, energetic young dog with a playful personality that lights up any room. He’s often described as “bouncy” by FOHA staff because of his long legs, big feet, and boundless enthusiasm for zoomies. Goose is friendly with people and other dogs, enjoys walks, playtime, and toys of all kinds, and responds well to positive reinforcement and redirection.

He’s still learning appropriate manners and will thrive in a patient, committed home that can provide structure, consistency, and plenty of activity. Goose is crate-trained, housetrained, and loves spending time with his humans, making him a wonderful candidate for a family ready for an active, playful companion. A fenced yard and other dog friends would be a perfect addition to his forever home.

🐕 HOW AM I WITH DOGS:
He has done well with other dogs!

🐱 HOW AM I WITH CATS:
Unknown — FOHA can do a cat test and see how he does.

👶 HOW AM I WITH KIDS:
He has met children and done well. Due to his puppy energy, he may need a home with older children.

🎓 I KNOW THE FOLLOWING COMMANDS:
Come, sit, stay, place, load up.

🏠 MY HOUSEBREAKING AND/OR CRATING:
He is crate-trained and house-broken!

💖 THINGS I LIKE:
Sniffing, walks, bouncing around the play yard, toys of all kinds (I am a toy destroyer and my toys should be selected carefully), playing with my dog friends, chewing on my favorite nylabone, getting lots of attention!

🚫 THINGS I DISLIKE:
I chase cars, goats, sheep, and small animals and may do best without these as friends. I would do best with a fenced in yard.

💰 ADOPTION FEE INCLUDES:
Spay/neuter, vaccines (rabies, distemper & Bordetella), diagnostic testing, any additional medical procedures recommended by our vet, 1 bag starter food, a slip lead leash, 1 month flea/tick & heartworm preventatives, and 1-month access to Petcademy for training and behavior support.
