Meet Ginny

🐾 ABOUT THIS ANIMAL:

Hi, I’m Ginny – a stunning medium-furred girl with a heart full of affection and a serious love for people. If you visit the cattery, there’s a good chance I’ll be one of the first to greet you. I love attention—laps, cuddles, being picked up—you name it! I’m the rare cat who enjoys being held, and I’ll happily climb right into your lap, even if someone else (feline or human) is already there.

I live in FOHA’s communal cattery and do well overall, though I like to play ā€œhall monitorā€ if any cats start to fuss. I’d likely be happiest either as your one-and-only or with a calm cat friend who doesn’t mind my supervisory style. I also get very excited for mealtime—it’s one of my favorite parts of the day!

🐱 HOW AM I WITH OTHER CATS:

I live peacefully with other cats at FOHA but like to ā€œrefereeā€ when things get noisy. I’d likely do well with a mellow cat companion or enjoy being the queen of your castle.

🐶 HOW AM I WITH DOGS:

My experience with dogs is unknown. FOHA doesn’t always have dog history for our cats, but we’re happy to provide guidance on safe, gradual introductions in the home.

šŸ‘¶ HOW AM I WITH KIDS:

I’d likely enjoy older kids or teens who can give me lots of love and respect my space when I need a break from socializing.

🧼 MY LITTER BOX HABITS:

Excellent! I’m neat, clean, and reliable with my litter box habits.

šŸ’– THINGS I LIKE:

Lap time, being picked up and held, mealtime, greeting visitors, being the center of attention.

🚫 THINGS I DISLIKE:

Disagreements between other cats—I’ll step in to mediate! I’d rather live in a home with harmony and calm energy.

šŸ“‹ ADOPTION FEE INCLUDES:

When you adopt me from FOHA, my adoption fee covers everything I need to start our life together. This includes my spay surgery, up-to-date vaccinations (rabies and FVRCP/distemper), diagnostic testing for FIV/FeLV, a starter bag of food, one month of flea, tick, and heartworm prevention, and one month of access to Petcademy for post adoption support. Any additional medical care recommended by FOHA’s veterinarian is also included to ensure I’m healthy and happy.
