🌟 Meet Florence!

Florence may let her sister do most of the talking, but this sweet, gentle girl has plenty of charm of her own.

At about 6 months old, Florence is the quieter half of her sister duo. She can be a little shy at first and appreciates the chance to take things in before deciding she’s ready to participate. With some patience and kindness, we think this lovely girl will continue gaining confidence and showing more of herself as she settles in.

Florence and her sister Fern were found together in a dumpster and rescued by one of FOHA’s partner shelters. They’ve experienced a lot of change in their young lives, but through all of it, they’ve had each other.

And these girls clearly take sisterhood seriously. Fern and Florence can regularly be found curled up together in ridiculously adorable snuggle positions, making it nearly impossible to walk past without stopping to admire them.

They are old enough that they do not need to be adopted together, nor does Florence necessarily need another social cat in her new home. But for someone considering adopting two, Fern and Florence already come with something pretty special: a relationship they’ve built through everything they’ve experienced together.

🐾 A Few of My Favorite Things:
Cozy places, quiet moments, taking my time to get comfortable, snuggling with my sister Fern, and curling up together in positions specifically designed to make humans say “awww.”

🏡 What I’m Looking For:
A loving home that will give me a little time to settle in and let my personality unfold at my own pace. I can be adopted on my own, but I’d also love to continue my story alongside my sister Fern if the right family has room in their hearts for two.
