🌟 Meet Fern!

Fern has survived being found in a dumpster, made her way to safety, and has apparently decided that from this point forward, life should consist primarily of love, attention, and making sure everyone hears her opinions.

This gorgeous tabico girl is about 6 months old and is extremely affectionate. Fern loves being around people, soaking up attention, and chatting with you about whatever happens to be on her mind. She has plenty to say, and she sees no reason to keep those thoughts to herself!

Fern was found in a dumpster alongside her sister, Florence, and the two were rescued by one of FOHA’s partner shelters before eventually making their way to us. Despite such a rough beginning, Fern is an outgoing, loving young cat who seems more than ready to put the past behind her.

Fern and Florence are very close and can often be found snuggled together in the cutest possible positions. At 6 months old, they do not have to be adopted together or go to a home with another social cat, but if you’ve been considering two cats, these sisters would make a pretty wonderful pair. They’ve already been through so much side by side — and they clearly adore each other.

🐾 A Few of My Favorite Things:
Attention, affection, conversations with my humans, snuggling with Florence, being involved in whatever you’re doing, and making sure my opinions are properly represented.

🏡 What I’m Looking For:
A loving home that appreciates an affectionate young cat with plenty of personality. I can head home on my own, but I’d also be thrilled to bring my sister Florence along. Two sisters, twice the snuggles!

💛 Ready to fall in love?
Fern’s first chapter wasn’t the one she deserved. Now she’s ready for the good part — a family, a cozy home, and plenty of people to talk to.

Spay/neuter, vaccines (rabies and FVRCP/distemper), diagnostic testing (including FIV/FeLV), any additional medical care recommended by our vet, 1 bag starter food, 1 month flea/tick prevention, and 1-month access to Petcademy for post-adoption support.
