🌟 Meet Faith!

🐾 ABOUT THIS ANIMAL:

Faith is a sweet, smart hound girl who knows a thing or two about being part of a family. She previously lived in a home, but when her family could no longer care for her, she was surrendered through no fault of her own. Now she’s looking for a fresh start, and a family ready to make her part of their lives again.

Faith is happiest when she’s outside with her nose to the ground. She’s a true hound who loves sniffing, tracking, exploring, and investigating all the interesting smells the world has to offer. Give her some outdoor space to explore or take her along on an adventure, and she’s in her element.

But Faith has more than a good nose, she’s also a very smart girl! She’s already housebroken and crate trained, giving her a great foundation for transitioning back into home life. She loves to play, enjoys being outside, and has a wonderfully sweet nature.

Faith has also previously lived with children and done well, so she already has experience being part of a family household.

She’s had a home before, and we’re hoping her stay at FOHA is simply a short stop on the way to the family she’ll get to love for the rest of her life.

🐕 HOW AM I WITH DOGS:

My friends at FOHA are still learning more about my current preferences with other dogs and can tell you more about how I’m doing.

Unknown — just ask my friends at FOHA about a cat test.

👶 HOW AM I WITH KIDS:

I’ve lived with children before and did well with them! My friends at FOHA can help you determine whether I’ll be a good match for the kids in your family.

🎓 I KNOW THE FOLLOWING COMMANDS:

I’m a very smart girl with experience living in a home. My friends at FOHA are still learning all the specific commands I know, but I’ve already got some important life skills under my belt.

And don’t forget—I’m a hound! My nose was designed to work, and activities that let me sniff, search, track, and use my brain could be a great way to keep me happy and engaged.

Faith may have unexpectedly found herself needing a family again, but she comes with so much already going for her: sweet, smart, housebroken, crate trained, experienced with kids, playful, and equipped with one very important hound nose.

Her family couldn’t continue caring for her, but Faith still has plenty of love to give. Now she just needs someone willing to have a little Faith that the best chapter of her story is still ahead. 💛

Spay/neuter, vaccines (rabies, distemper & Bordetella), 1-month access to Petcademy for training and behavior support, slip lead leash, 1 bag starter food, 1 month flea/tick & heartworm preventatives, diagnostic testing, and additional medical procedures as recommended by our vet.
