Meet Doc
🐾 ABOUT THIS ANIMAL:
Hi, I’m Doc – a silver-coated sweetheart with three legs and a whole lot of love to give! Life hasn’t been easy, but I’ve never let that slow me down. I arrived at my previous rescue with a badly broken leg, likely from an animal attack, and had to have it amputated. But don’t worry—three legs are more than enough for me to climb, play, and enjoy life to the fullest!
Now I’m at FOHA, continuing my journey in search of a forever family. I love scaling the top of cat towers like a champ and showing off my strength and determination. I’m a gentle soul who adores chin scritches, cozy cuddle spots, and quiet bonding time with my people.
I get along wonderfully with other cats—they bring out my playful side! But dogs? Not my thing. I’d really love a peaceful, dog-free home where I can feel safe and shine.
🐱 HOW AM I WITH OTHER CATS:
Fantastic! I’m social and friendly with other cats and would enjoy a feline companion.
🐶 HOW AM I WITH DOGS:
No thank you—I’m very scared of dogs and would do best in a dog-free home.
👶 HOW AM I WITH KIDS:
Older, respectful kids or a quiet adult home would be ideal so I can build trust and feel at ease.
🧼 MY LITTER BOX HABITS:
No issues here! I’m clean and consistent, even with three legs.
💖 THINGS I LIKE:
Climbing, chin rubs, soft blankets, quiet spaces, cat buddies, and people who go slow and gentle with me.
🚫 THINGS I DISLIKE:
Dogs – my previous shelter noted that I was TERRIFIED of dogs
