ABOUT THIS ANIMAL:
Hi, I’m Coconut — but my close friends also call me Coco, Bonk, or Uncle Coco. I answer to all of them! I recently arrived at FOHA after spending two amazing years in a foster home with a previous rescue. My foster mom loved me dearly, but after so much time without finding my forever home, she decided it was time to try a new area — in hopes that I’d finally meet the family I’ve been waiting for. Could it be you?

I’m a mellow, affectionate guy who adores other cats — especially kittens. My foster mom called me her “Zen Cat” because I’m so gentle and easygoing. Around kittens, I become Uncle Coco: grooming them, cuddling them, and showing them the ropes of cat life. I’ve never met a kitten I didn’t love.

I’ve got a silly side, too. When I’m happy, I make “horsie biscuits,” lifting my legs like I’m trotting while I purr with a funny little trill. I also taught myself to drop toys from the top of the stairs and chase them as they roll down — pretty clever, huh?

My favorite snack? Churus! I’ll even steal treats from the kittens if they’re really good (don’t judge me). I also have a quirky habit of taking mouthfuls of kibble and dropping it in my water bowl or on the floor before I eat it. It’s my thing.

I’m affectionate with people, too! I love to bonk your leg gently for attention and hang out nearby. I’d thrive in a home with another cat or kitten — the more the merrier!

HOW AM I WITH OTHER CATS:
Excellent! I LOVE other cats and kittens. I’m gentle, nurturing, and playful.

HOW AM I WITH DOGS:
To be determined. If you have a dog in the home I will go home as foster with intent to adopt so you can see how things go!

HOW AM I WITH KIDS:
I’d be a great match for a family with gentle children who know how to give love at my pace.

MY LITTER BOX HABITS:
Clean and consistent! I’m a pro.

THINGS I LIKE:
Churus, string toys, kitten snuggles, watching toys roll down stairs, making horsie biscuits, and headbutts.

THINGS I DISLIKE:
Not much! I’m mellow, sweet, and easygoing.

ADOPTION FEE INCLUDES:
Spay/neuter, vaccines (rabies and FVRCP/distemper), diagnostic testing (including FIV/FeLV), any additional medical care recommended by our vet, 1 bag starter food, 1 month flea/tick prevention, and 1-month access to Petcademy for post-adoption support.
