ABOUT THIS ANIMAL:
Hi, I’m Chitlins, a calm and friendly girl who loves to explore at my own pace. I can be a little jumpy with sudden movements or unusual noises, but I settle quickly and enjoy checking in with my humans. I love stopping to sniff along walks and I’m happiest when given the time to explore, play, and chase toys on my own. Treats are my favorite, and I’m always gentle and relaxed during petting sessions once I get comfortable.

HOW AM I WITH DOGS:
I watch other dogs quietly and recover quickly. I do well with slow, calm introductions.

HOW AM I WITH CATS:
Unknown.

HOW AM I WITH KIDS:
I did well around kids under 10 however, do to my shy nature, I’d prefer to go home with older, respectful children.

I KNOW THE FOLLOWING COMMANDS:
Walk calmly on loose leash; loves retrieving toys.

MY HOUSEBREAKING AND/OR CRATING:
Calm and easy to leash, exits smoothly; confident in kennel routine.

THINGS I LIKE:
Chasing toys, exploring, sniffing on walks, treats, gentle pets.

THINGS I DISLIKE:
Fast movements or loud/unexpected noises — I need slow introductions to new experiences.

ADOPTION FEE INCLUDES:
Spay/neuter, vaccines (rabies, distemper & Bordetella), 1-month access to Petcademy for training and behavior support, slip lead leash, 1 bag starter food, 1 month flea/tick & heartworm preventatives, diagnostic testing, and additional medical procedures as recommended by our vet.
