🌟 Meet Cami

Hi, I’m Cami,  a stunning gray beauty with a soft soul and a heart that knows exactly what it deserves. I was rescued by one of FOHA’s partner rescues after being left behind in an apartment when my family moved out. Even after all that, I never lost my sweetness, I just learned that my next chapter needed to be much better.

I spent time in the FOHA cattery and did well around the other cats, taking everything in stride with quiet grace. Then I went to a foster home… and that’s where everything clicked. I discovered cozy beds, peaceful routines, and what it truly means to live like a queen. Let’s just say, I have no plans to go backward. Any future foster or adopter should be prepared to spoil me accordingly (I promise I’m worth it).

🐾 A Few of My Favorite Things:
Window watching, peaceful lounging, clean cozy spaces, and soaking up the calm energy of a loving home. I’m tidy, well-mannered, and happiest when life feels gentle and predictable. I have a serene presence and a sweetness that makes people fall in love quietly and completely.

🏡 What I’m Looking For:
I’m looking for a home that understands that I’ve earned my comfort. A calm environment where I can be cherished, admired, and treated like the royalty I am would be ideal. I’ve done well with other cats, and if you have another cat or a dog in the home, I will go home as foster with intent to adopt so you can see how things go!

💛 Ready to fall in love?
If you’re searching for a graceful, affectionate cat who knows how to appreciate the good life — and will remind you to slow down and enjoy it too — I’d love to meet you.

Cami's Medical Information

I have FIV, that's what I have but it is NOT who I AM! Please don't let that scare you away. I want you to know that FIV+ cats can and DO live long, healthy, and normal lives when given the chance. In fact, statistically, most FIV cats live as long as their indoor counterparts (13-18 years), and much longer than cats that live outdoors (3-8 years). There are many reported cases where FIV+ cats live well into old age without ever showing any symptoms. It's important to note that dogs, other pets, and humans are absolutely immune to FIV. The virus itself is astonishingly frail and can live outside of the body for only a few seconds. The virus is also extremely slow-acting, so it is unlikely to pose any threat to other cats in the household. I know that adopting an FIV+ cat may seem like a big responsibility, but I promise that I am worth it. I am a sweet and loving kitty who just wants a warm and safe place to call home. If you are willing to give me a chance, I promise to bring you years of joy and companionship. So please come and meet me, and see for yourself that FIV+ cats are just as wonderful and deserving of love as any other cat.
