Meet Bryce

🌟 Meet Bryce!

Bryce’s story began in a difficult way. He was one of thirty cats left behind when their caretaker suddenly disappeared, leaving an entire colony to fend for themselves. Despite such a big and confusing change, Bryce has shown everyone at FOHA just how resilient and loving he truly is.

This tiny, adorable boy has quickly made himself at home in the cattery. He walks around with quiet confidence, choosing the coziest spots for his naps and keeping a gentle eye on everything happening around him. Bryce has a naturally welcoming spirit — whenever a new cat joins the room, he’s often the first to stroll over and greet them. Even our more timid feline friends seem to find comfort in his calm, friendly presence.

🐾 A Few of My Favorite Things:
Soft, comfy places to nap, peaceful exploring, gentle pets, and making new cat friends. I really enjoy being part of the room’s quiet social life.

🏡 What I’m Looking For:
I would love a home where I can continue to feel safe and cherished. I do wonderfully with other cats and would likely enjoy having a feline companion to share cozy days and playful moments with. If you already have a cat (or even a dog!), I can go home as foster with intent to adopt so we can make sure everyone feels comfortable together.

💛 Ready to fall in love?
If you’re looking for a sweet, easygoing companion with a gentle heart and a comforting presence, I might be your perfect match. Come meet me — I can’t wait to say hello.

Bryce's Medical Information

I have FIV, that's what I have but it is NOT who I AM! Please don't let that scare you away. I want you to know that FIV+ cats can and DO live long, healthy, and normal lives when given the chance. In fact, statistically, most FIV cats live as long as their indoor counterparts (13-18 years), and much longer than cats that live outdoors (3-8 years). There are many reported cases where FIV+ cats live well into old age without ever showing any symptoms. It's important to note that dogs, other pets, and humans are absolutely immune to FIV. The virus itself is astonishingly frail and can live outside of the body for only a few seconds. The virus is also extremely slow-acting, so it is unlikely to pose any threat to other cats in the household. I know that adopting an FIV+ cat may seem like a big responsibility, but I promise that I am worth it. I am a sweet and loving kitty who just wants a warm and safe place to call home. If you are willing to give me a chance, I promise to bring you years of joy and companionship. So please come and meet me, and see for yourself that FIV+ cats are just as wonderful and deserving of love as any other cat.
