🌟 Meet Arnold!

Mister Arnold is not a complicated man. In fact, he only requires two things to achieve peak happiness:

1. A lap
2. Unlimited access to that lap for the remainder of the day

That’s it. That’s the list.

Arnold is one of those rare cats who has absolutely perfected the art of companionship. The moment you sit down, he’ll likely appear as if summoned by magic, carefully climbing into your lap and settling into the most comfortable loaf position possible. Once he’s achieved maximum coziness, don’t expect him to move anytime soon.

🐾 A Few of My Favorite Things:

Laps. More laps. Naps on laps.

When volunteers spend time with Arnold, they quickly discover that he is essentially a fluffy, purring heating pad with opinions about personal schedules. One volunteer reported that he happily napped on their lap for over an hour, eventually drifting into a deep sleep complete with adorable little snores. Another described him as “such a delight” who spends his time requesting pets, gazing lovingly at his humans, and generally being the sweetest little cuddlebug imaginable.

His greatest tragedy in life? When people have the audacity to stand up. Arnold will respond with the saddest little squeaky noises and gentle paw taps, making it very clear that your departure was neither requested nor approved.

🏡 What I’m Looking For:

I’m looking for a home with a warm lap, a comfy couch, and humans who understand that personal space is a highly overrated concept. I’d love a family who enjoys quiet afternoons, movie marathons, reading sessions, or working from home—activities that can all be improved by having a fluffy cat asleep on your legs.

If you have another cat or a dog, I can go home as foster with intent to adopt so we can make sure everyone gets along.

Spay/neuter, vaccines (rabies and FVRCP/distemper), diagnostic testing (including FIV/FeLV), any additional medical care recommended by our vet, 1 bag starter food, 1 month flea/tick prevention, and 1-month access to Petcademy for post-adoption support.
