Leadership

Chris began volunteering at FOHA in February 2021 after retiring from a 35-year career in Higher Education. Her experience includes alumni relations and development; event management; board and volunteer management; and career development.  As a volunteer at FOHA, Chris has actively participated in doggie social, staffed events, walked dogs, helped with intake, and assisted with auctions for fall fundraising events. Chris and her family have rescued many dogs and cats over the years and currently have two rescue cats and two rescue dogs, one of whom, Ella (FKA Kansas) is a beloved FOHA foster fail. Chris is passionate about animal rescue and welfare and is committed to the mission of FOHA.
