The Fred Sander’s Village at FOHA is so special! It is where our longer term resident dogs have their very own house, bed, front porch and fenced yard to play and lounge in the sun. Some of the dogs residing in this village have been with FOHA for many years and have developed strong bonds with their favorite staff and volunteers. Each dog has unique personality traits that require a very special adopter to come along. It is a joyous day when one of these dogs takes his/her last walk out of the village and into their forever homes with their new families. In 2020, 4 village dogs have taken such a walk and have been adopted or gone into foster!
