FOHA is supporting 14 year old Jayson Kimberly, founder of Leave it for the Pooch, a 501c3 charity. He collects rescue and shelter shirts from all over the US and wears one to school each day to raise awareness for stray, neglected, and abused animals. He contacted us a few months ago and we sent a shirt for him to wear to school to represent FOHA. He wears a different rescue/ shelter shirt each day of the school year to show his peers how many exist due to overpopulation of homeless animals. Jayson is hoping by visually bringing it to them he can teach them about being responsible pet owners when they grow up. He is in 9th grade and his goal is to wear a different shirt through his high school years as he already had his entire 8th grade year 2019/20 covered.
Jayson will be representing FOHA on Friday, April 16 at Montgomery high school in Montgomery, Texas. His Facebook page is @leaveitforthepooch. His instagram is @leaveitforthepooch. And you can read more about him on his website here.
