🌟 Meet Loco!

🐾 ABOUT THIS ANIMAL:

If you’ve been searching for a gentle soul to share life’s quieter moments with, I’d love to introduce myself. My name is Loco, and while I may get a little excited when it’s time to head out for an adventure, I’m really just a sweet, easygoing gentleman at heart.

Once I’m out on a walk, I settle in beautifully. I walk with a loose leash, enjoy taking in all the interesting smells along the trail, and am content to simply explore the world at a relaxed pace. I recently spotted a deer on one of my walks and was absolutely fascinated by it—but I remained calm and polite. That’s just my style.

One of my favorite things is spending time with people. I love affection, enjoy gentle pets, and take treats with the softest manners. Volunteers often comment on how calm and easy I am to handle. Whether we’re strolling through the woods or taking a break for some scratches and cuddles, I’m happiest when I’m spending time with someone who cares.

If you’re looking for a loyal companion who is equal parts sweet, gentle, and loving, I just might be your perfect match.

🐕 HOW AM I WITH DOGS:

I have been nonreactive around other dogs and have done well passing them on walks.

🐱 HOW AM I WITH CATS:

Unknown — just ask my friends at FOHA to conduct a cat test.

👶 HOW AM I WITH KIDS:

Unknown — we recommend slow introductions to help everyone feel comfortable.

I’m still getting to know my friends at FOHA and showing them all my wonderful qualities.

Still learning my routine in my new environment.

Affection, gentle pets, leisurely walks, sniffing new scents, treats, and spending time with my people.

⚠️ THINGS I STRUGGLE WITH:

I can get a little excited when it’s time to leave my kennel because I’m so happy to get out and spend time with people!

ADOPTION FEE INCLUDES:
Spay/neuter, vaccines (rabies, distemper & Bordetella), 1-month access to Petcademy for training and behavior support, slip lead leash, 1 bag starter food, 1 month flea/tick & heartworm preventatives, diagnostic testing, and additional medical procedures as recommended by our vet.
