🌟 Meet Brick

ABOUT THIS ANIMAL:
Hi! I’m Brick — an energetic, curious guy who loves adventure, exploring new smells, and most of all… snacks. I am very food motivated (okay… extremely food motivated), which makes me fun to train and eager to engage with my people. If there’s a treat involved, you’ve definitely got my full attention.

I’m a busy boy who likes to stay on the move. Walks are one of my favorite things — I enjoy sniffing everything along the way and may pull a little at first out of excitement, but I’m manageable and settle into the outing. I also had a blast chasing a tennis ball and happily gave it up when asked. While toys aren’t always my main focus, interactive play with my person is something I really enjoy.

I can be jumpy and enthusiastic, especially when I’m excited, and I’m still learning how to regulate all that energy. I recover quickly from small stressors and new sounds don’t tend to bother me. I’ve shown that I’m comfortable with general handling and have no issues with people being near my food or belongings.

Because I’m such an active, “go go go” kind of dog, I’ll thrive with an adopter who enjoys training, enrichment, and helping me channel my energy into positive outlets. With structure and guidance, I have so much potential to become an incredibly fun and devoted companion.

🐕 HOW AM I WITH DOGS:
I can be selective around other dogs and may become reactive in high-energy situations, especially when another dog is barking or very stimulated. FOHA will schedule a dog introduction if you have a dog at home.

🐱 HOW AM I WITH CATS:
Unknown — just ask my friends at FOHA to conduct a cat test.

👶 HOW AM I WITH KIDS:
Unknown — slow introductions are recommended.

Spay/neuter, vaccines (rabies, distemper & Bordetella), 1-month access to Petcademy for training and behavior support, slip lead leash, 1 bag starter food, 1 month flea/tick & heartworm preventatives, diagnostic testing, and additional medical procedures as recommended by our vet.
