Meet *Dog of the Week* – Pringles

ABOUT THIS ANIMAL: Pringles is a sweet, energetic, and fun-loving dog who brings joy wherever he goes! Always ready for playtime with his dog friends, he frolics, chases toys, and explores with boundless enthusiasm. When the day winds down, he’s all about snuggles, belly rubs, and affection from his humans. Fully house trained and crate trained, Pringles is calm indoors, gentle with treats, and quick to learn new commands.

He did well in a foster home, playing like a champ alongside three other dogs and learning different play styles. He’s excellent on leash, greets people calmly, and thrives with praise and gentle guidance. Outdoors, he loves running, exploring, and exchanging toys, especially silicone chews, jolly balls, and tennis balls. He enjoys having a well-mannered dog friend but also does wonderfully as the only pup with engaged humans.

Smart, affectionate, and highly trainable, Pringles is looking for a forever home that matches his energy and love of life. A fenced yard would be a big bonus for zooms and playtime, and daily walks, toys, and cuddles will make him the happiest dog ever. Pringles is ready to bring his tail-wagging joy, playful spirit, and endless affection to a family who wants to share in it! Could that be you?

HOW AM I WITH DOGS:
I would love a dog friend but I do not need one to thrive!

HOW AM I WITH CATS:
No cats or chickens please!

HOW AM I WITH KIDS:
I’ve met younger (> 10) kids and done well with them, but because I can be mouthy, I might be a better fit for families with older (10+) children. That said, I could also do great in a home with younger kids if the family has dog experience and is committed to continuing my training.

I KNOW THE FOLLOWING COMMANDS:
Basic obedience in progress; training plan and session included at adoption.

  • sit
  • watch
  • leave it
  • crate/go to crate

MY HOUSEBREAKING AND/OR CRATING:
I am housebroken and crate-trained.

THINGS I LIKE:
Attention, pets, leash walks, zoomies, yard play, treats, silicone chews, jolly ball, triangles, tennis ball, napping

THINGS I DISLIKE:
Getting overstimulated, loud noises like garbage trucks sometimes scare me but I have been getting more confident! I mastered my fear of indoor stairs at one of my foster homes!
