🌟 Meet Marble! 🌟

Hi, I’m Marble, a gorgeous German Shepherd with a heart full of love and a brain full of smarts. I’m affectionate, cuddly, and happiest when I get to share both adventure and downtime with my favorite humans. My absolute favorite game is chasing leaves on a breezy day, and I also love splashing in streams like a playful pup. When the fun is over, I’m just as content to lean in close for hugs and belly rubs.

Like many shepherds, I’m observant, loyal, and eager to please. I already know an impressive list of commands: sit, down, shake, chase your tail, play dead, and “with me/wait”,  and I’m always ready to learn more. I thrive on treats, praise, and affection, which makes training and bonding with me extra rewarding.

I’m looking for an adult-only home with German Shepherd–savvy people who will give me structure, patience, and plenty of love. I’d do best as your one-and-only pup so I can soak up all your attention. In return, I’ll be your devoted companion, always ready for a walk, a snuggle, or a new adventure by your side.

I’m so excited to meet my potential new family! To make sure we have the best first impression, I’d feel most comfortable meeting new people with one of my friends (a FOHA staff or volunteer) by my side. The best way to set up a successful meet-and-greet is by submitting an application first. Thanks for considering me!

I’m also eligible for FOHA’s Foster Forward Program, which helps long-stay animals like me experience home life and increases my chances of adoption.

HOW AM I WITH DOGS:
I do best as a single dog. I’m alert and curious on walks, and I respond well to redirection.

HOW AM I WITH CATS:
No cats, please.

HOW AM I WITH KIDS:
An adult-only home is best for me.

Spay/neuter, vaccines (rabies, distemper & Bordetella), 1-month access to Petcademy for training and behavior support, slip lead leash, 1 bag starter food, 1 month flea/tick & heartworm preventatives, diagnostic testing, and additional medical procedures as recommended by our vet.
