 📝 ABOUT THIS ANIMAL

Hi, I’m Shabazz! I’m a calm, thoughtful guy who enjoys taking in the world around me in the company of my people. I love heading out for walks where I can sniff around and observe everything going on—no trail is too interesting to investigate! I’m a good boy when it’s time to gear up and will wait calmly while you leash me for our next adventure. I’m always happy to receive pets and love, and I enjoy being close to kind, gentle people.

I’m good with other dogs and do well around them.

I’ve met cats before and have done well with them.

I have nice leash manners and walk well, especially when I can stop and sniff along the way.

I’m not housetrained yet, so I’ll need a little guidance and consistency to learn.

Walks where I can observe and sniff, calm affection, and spending time with people who enjoy a slower pace.

⚠️ THINGS I DISLIKE / STRUGGLE WITH

Busy or overstimulating environments can make me a little nervous, and I may get slightly reactive when things feel overwhelming. I do best with a patient person who helps me feel safe and keeps things calm and predictable.

Spay/neuter, vaccines (rabies, distemper & Bordetella), 1-month access to Petcademy for training and behavior support, slip lead leash, 1 bag starter food, 1 month flea/tick & heartworm preventatives, diagnostic testing, and additional medical procedures as recommended by our vet.
