Rawley

ABOUT THIS PET

Rawley enjoys sitting with people on the porch. He puts his front paws on your lap, then lies down for pets, and he will stay in your lap for as long as you let him. Rawley throws his own ball, then brings it with him when someone joins in for fetch. On the trail, he walks beside his handler on a loose leash, stops to sniff occasionally, and takes treats gently. He works hard for treats, cheese most of all.

HOUSEHOLD FIT

Rawley has joined playgroups and played gently with other dogs, with give and take. On walks he passes dogs without pulling toward them. He does not have an overly strong prey drive, but we do not know how he would do with cats. He would do best in a home without young children.

TRAINING

Rawley knows sit, lay down, and shake, and on walks he sits each time his walker stops. He stands still for brushing and seems to enjoy it. He is house-trained and crate-trained, and rarely barks.

GOOD TO KNOW

Rawley can be hesitant in new places and situations. Cars worried him at first, but with practice he now jumps into the back seat on his own.
