🌟 Meet Pepper!

Pepper came to FOHA alongside her brother, Little Man, and while we originally thought these two could happily go their separate ways, Pepper had other plans.

Pepper was adopted, but unfortunately, the dog in her new home was simply too scary for her, and she returned to FOHA. When Pepper and Little Man were reunited, their reaction told us something we hadn’t fully understood before: these two really are a team. They may not be interested in making lots of other feline friends, but they genuinely enjoy each other, and after everything they’ve been through, we’d love to see this dynamic duo head home together.

Pepper has also come such a long way since the cautious girl who first arrived at FOHA. Her personality has blossomed, and these days she is playful, curious, energetic, and ready to explore. She especially loves wand toys and automatic/motion toys and has been known to happily play for several minutes at a time. She’s even been spotted enthusiastically playing with both a wand toy and Little Man, completely comfortable letting her silly side show.

She can still take a little time to decide that a new person is trustworthy, but treats are an excellent icebreaker. Once Pepper is comfortable, she’s happy to stick around, play, explore, and enjoy being part of the action. She’s more of a playmate and adventure buddy than a lap cat, and Little Man is right there matching her energy.

Because of her experience in her previous home, Pepper is looking for a home without dogs. What she would love, however, is a family willing to make room for two. Little Man and Pepper already know each other, love each other, and bring out the fun in one another, all they need now is a home to share.

Pepper uses the litter box consistently and keeps her resting areas tidy.

Pepper is also eligible for FOHA’s Foster Forward Program, which helps long-stay animals like her experience home life and increases her chances of adoption.

🏡 What I’m Looking For:
A dog-free home with my brother Little Man where the two of us can play, explore, and settle into family life together. I may need a little patience while I get comfortable with new people and surroundings, but once I feel safe, there’s a fun, curious girl waiting to come out. Little Man helps me feel at home, and we think we’re ready to make our next move together, this time for good.

Pepper and Little Man have made their choice: they’re in this together. Now they just need someone willing to open their heart and home to double the love, double the personality, and definitely double the fun.

Spay/neuter, vaccines (rabies and FVRCP/distemper), diagnostic testing (including FIV/FeLV), any additional medical care recommended by our vet, 1 bag starter food, 1 month flea/tick prevention, and 1-month access to Petcademy for post-adoption support.
