Meet Lady Eleanor

ABOUT THIS ANIMAL:

My name is Lady Eleanor and I was rescued from a colony of cats when I was almost 9 months old. Although I was scared of the world at first, I’ve blossomed in FOHA foster care. I’m now a grown lady who loves cheek rubs, playing with ball toys, stretching out for naps, and window-watching. I chirp when I get excited and will rub against people I know, often flopping against them for a cuddle session. My confidence continues to grow with the help of my trusted human and I’m ready for my forever home. Could that be with you?

HOW AM I WITH OTHER CATS:
I would do best with a friendly cat companion. I get excited to meet other cats and am very curious about them even though I might get nervous up close. I think I’d like a feline roommate but need time for slow introductions.

HOW AM I WITH DOGS:
To be determined. If you have a dog in the home, I will go home as foster with intent to adopt so you can see how things go!

HOW AM I WITH KIDS:
To be determined, although I can be scared of new noises and sometimes sudden movements so older kids may be best. Come out and meet me and we can see!

MY LITTER BOX HABITS:
Perfect!

THINGS I LIKE:
I love playing, especially with balls and any toy that jingles. I have a whole collection of balls with bells in them that I will play with on my own and I have fun playing soccer if you want to bat one back and forth with me. I also enjoy playing with teaser toys yet might drag them away and hide them. Sometimes I will hide under furniture or in a cat cavern and reach out my paw to play with a toy nearby. I like coming out to socialize with people and other cats, often reaching out a paw, flopping to show off my pure white belly, or even doing a little dance with my front paws for attention. My foster mom says I have the softest fur as she gives me the cheek and head rubs that I love. I also like a good nap and may snore very softly on occasion.

THINGS I DISLIKE:
I can get a little overwhelmed in new situations and nervous around unfamiliar things, so please don’t be offended if I hide initially. Once I’m sure it’s safe, I’ll come out ready to engage. I can also get a bit overstimulated at times, especially with too many full-body pets. Patience is key with me, but I promise that I’m worth it!
