Meet Kita
ABOUT THIS ANIMAL:
Hi, I’m Kita — a petite and gentle Husky mix with a heart full of love and a little bit of shyness. I came to FOHA with my sister Kiara, and we’re a bonded pair looking for a forever home together. She’s my brave best friend and helps me feel safe and confident in new situations.
I may be reserved when meeting new people, but once I warm up, I love spending time in the play yard, running around with other dogs and enjoying treats (cheese, please!). I do best in calm, patient environments and feel most secure when Kiara is by my side.
We’ve made it clear to the team here: we’re happiest when we’re together. Whether it’s playtime with other dogs or relaxing in a cozy space, we’re a package deal, and we’re ready to bring double the love to the right home.
HOW AM I WITH DOGS:
Great with other dogs! I enjoy playgroup and gain confidence when I have dog friends around — especially my sister Kiara.
HOW AM I WITH CATS:
Unknown, but FOHA can do a cat test and send a video if needed.
HOW AM I WITH KIDS:
I’ve met kids over 10 and done well. I’d love a home with gentle, respectful children.
I KNOW THE FOLLOWING COMMANDS:
I’m learning new things every day — especially when cheese is involved!
MY HOUSEBREAKING AND/OR CRATING:
We’re working on routines and doing our best — patient adopters will help us thrive.
THINGS I LIKE:
Playtime in the yard • Running with my sister • Cheese treats • Calm environments • Earning your trust
THINGS I DISLIKE:
Being separated from Kiara — we’re stronger together! I’m also a bit nervous around new people at first but warm up with kindness.
