ABOUT THIS ANIMAL:

🐶💥 This sweet, snorty guy is the definition of easygoing charm! 🐷💛 Deebo is a silly but often chill cuddle bug who loves soft toys, scritches on his sides, and lounging in the sun like a piglet on vacation. ☀️🐾

Deebo has been thriving in foster care, where he’s shown what a loyal and affectionate companion he can be once he trusts you. He enjoys relaxing on the couch or his dog bed, riding in the car, and spending time with his person. While he has a playful side (especially with toys like tennis balls and squeaky plushies), he also knows how to settle and relax—he’s the kind of dog who is happy to snuggle up and snooze the night away.

He’s a well-mannered boy around food, loves treats, and hasn’t shown any food guarding. On walks he does well overall, though interesting smells may tempt him to pull a little—his nose is just doing its job! He enjoys exploring the world but isn’t overly reactive to wildlife or passing distractions.

Deebo can be very friendly in public, but he may become protective of his home and his person. Because of this, he would do best in a quiet household with a predictable routine and minimal visitors where he can feel secure and relaxed.

Once he trusts you, Deebo is incredibly sweet and affectionate. He’s the type of dog who bonds closely with his person and becomes a devoted, goofy, loving companion.

HOW AM I WITH DOGS:

I like calm dogs! I tend to do well around dogs with relaxed energy. Very high-energy or pushy dogs can be a bit much for me.

HOW AM I WITH CATS:

No cats for me. I find them far too interesting!

HOW AM I WITH KIDS:

I should not be in a home with kids who live there or visit. This is non-negotiable.

I KNOW THE FOLLOWING COMMANDS:

Sit, come, down, and “no.” I’m also working on improving my leash skills and responding to my name.

MY HOUSEBREAKING AND/OR CRATING:

I’m housebroken and do great in the home. I don’t need to be crated and behave well when left alone.

THINGS I LIKE:

Car rides, tug-of-war, squeaky plushies, tennis balls, beef bones, rope toys, and lots of affection from my people. I also love treats like hot dogs, cheese, salmon oil, chicken, pumpkin, and other tasty snacks!

THINGS I DISLIKE:

I’m sensitive about my tail being touched and may be cautious with new handling until I trust you. Sudden hand gestures can startle me, so a calm and patient approach works best.

ADOPTION FEE INCLUDES:
Spay/neuter, vaccines (rabies, distemper & Bordetella), 1-month access to Petcademy for training and behavior support, slip lead leash, 1 bag starter food, 1 month flea/tick & heartworm preventatives, diagnostic testing, and additional medical procedures as recommended by our vet.
