December 1, 2020 is Giving Tuesday, a global day of generosity unleashing the power of people to transform their communities. Here’s how you can help FOHA’s dogs and cats, and the families who adopt them:
- Become a matching donor: We already have one generous matching gift donation. Would you like to join our Giving Tuesday matching funds pool so we can offer an even larger amount? Matching funds motivate others to donate, since they know their donation dollars will be matched. Email president@foha.org if you can help.
- Spread the word: For the biggest impact, set up your own FOHA Giving Tuesday Now fundraiser on Facebook and share with family and friends! Starting is easy – simply click on “Fundraisers” in the left menu of your news feed, set up your page, share with friends, and watch your impact grow. People can donate to your Fundraiser in just a few clicks, without ever leaving Facebook, and 100% of their donation goes to help the dogs and cats at FOHA.
- Donate on FOHA’s website here or through FOHA’s Giving Tuesday Now Fundraiser on Facebook that will be launched before Thanksgiving.
- Join the Fun…Follow Us on Social Media! FOHA will post lots of information on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn. Please share our posts and help us publicize the event.
The FOHA community has been so generous on giving days in the past. Last December, Giving Tuesday donations totaled over $60,000; our 2020 goal is to at least meet and hopefully exceed this amount.
