Adoption Success Story: Pickle (formerly Michael Scott)
Sometimes the best stories are the ones you never expect, and for Pickle and his new family, that couldn’t be more true.
When FOHA put out a call for fosters, Pickle’s future family answered at just the right time. They submitted their foster application right as we were searching for someone to care for a sweet, under-the-weather kitty named Michael Scott. They agreed to take him in, and the rest is history.
From the moment he entered their home, Pickle began to thrive. He recovered fully from calicivirus, gained a healthy amount of weight, and quickly showed his true colors as a lovable, easygoing cat. It didn’t take long for his foster family to realize he wasn’t going anywhere, he had already found his forever home.
“We are so happy to have adopted this sweet boy. This kitty fits in with us so perfectly,” they shared. “Sometimes the best stories are the ones you never expect!”
