Courage is defined as “strength in the face of pain or grief”. This is such a fitting name for this sweet boy! Courage came to FOHA in 2014 with a collar that was so tight it embedded in his little neck. We worked quickly with our veterinary partners to have it surgically removed and get him on his path to recovery. Courage put on a brave face and was adopted twice into homes with kids. As hard as he tried the kids just proved to be much and he was returned once again to FOHA. Thankfully one of FOHA’s long term volunteers decided her family would provide him with the stability he needed for the rest of his life.
We work tirelessly to help those dogs and cats that need us the most! With your continued support we can help dogs like Courage find the strength to trust and love again.
